Highest Point specialises in providing coaching , mentoring and group facilitation services and support in the broader area of culture change within organisations. We do work in the private and public sector, and with both large and smaller groups.

We are based in Noosa, SE Queensland, with an office in Sydney.

(David Metherell, is founder and principal of Highest Point.

His passion is supporting individuals to discover their true potential and the scope of contribution they can make in their personal and professional lives…. and as part of this in helping create a culture where this can occur in the organisations they are part of.

Prior to specialising in the area of personal and organisational change, David enjoyed an extensive career over 22 years in general and senior management positions at board level in multinational corporations.

This included 11 years with Lion Nathan whose progressive, successful approach to culture change and leadership development has been well documented.

During this time he gained substantial experience in mentoring & coaching, and as a leader in the creation and implementation of cultural change, talent development and capability-building programmes.

David lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland with his partner Michelle, and three children who have helped provide him with as many learnings as those gained in his professional life.

David is an accredited coach/facilitator in the use of Human Synergistics individual & organisational effectiveness tools.  He is a member of the AICD, and has attended the strategic leadership programme at Templeton College Oxford.

His academic qualifications include an Honours Degree in Law from Newcastle upon  Tyne University, and he is also qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
